Located in Fogelsville, PA., we provided architectural services for the Glasbern Inn, a quintessential historic country hotel located in the Lehigh Valley, for their newest event space, called Glasloft. The Glasloft is a 2,500 square foot dining expansion. It was designed to maximize the views of the pristine pond and stunning hillside.

Located in New Tripoli, PA., we handled the planning and design for a new 2-story, 10,770 SF fire station in the Lehigh Valley. This unique design involved demolishing the existing outdated fire station addition connected to the original brick school/converted banquet hall and constructing a new modern fire station addition. The new 7,790 SF first floor design provides six engine room bays, four of which have high ceilings for tilt cab maintenance, along with gear, SCBA and engineer’s rooms. The new 2,980 SF second floor provides space for future storage and growth.

Located in Allentown, PA., Watkins Architect handled the planning, designing and construction observation for the renovation of an existing building, built in 1947 and located in downtown Allentown, for the relocation of Haven House’s Outpatient and Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services Clinic. The project scope included a total gut and renovation of 75% of the building and minor cosmetic upgrades to the other 25% of the facility. New spaces created include waiting, reception, offices, files/copy room, classrooms, computer lab, arts & crafts room, cafeteria, commercial kitchen, conference room, restrooms, support spaces and a location for a future thrift shop.

As part of the renovation, all plumbing, and electrical systems were upgraded and the existing HVAC system was modified to meet the needs of Haven House. The project was made possible in part by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program grant.

Parking Lot Renovations – Design to transform a standard city parking lot into a green space parking lot for a mental/behavioral health facility. The green space design is intended to assist the staff as a clinical therapy tool and includes a colored concrete walking path, architectural fence, outdoor patio, open pavilion, storage shed, garden area and new landscaping.

Located in Schnecksville, PA., we provided a variety of services to LCTI. List below:

LCTI Welding Lab Addition – Designed a new 11,900 SF addition for the technical school’s welding lab program, including a large classroom, student lockers and toilet rooms, 40 welding booths, a grinding room and a teacher’s lab. The addition is designed to be a focal point near the campus entry, using metals as the aesthetic design element.

LCTI Diesel Lab Addition – Designed the 4,800 SF addition, including two classrooms, bathrooms, lounge, offices and two educational tear-down rooms for transmissions and engines.

LCTI Transportation Center – We designed the 4,600 SF addition to the existing Lehigh Valley PA technical school including a two-bay educational garage, bathrooms, two classrooms and a climate-controlled truck driving simulator room.

EBC Printing

Located in Trexlertown, PA., Watkins Architect provided architectural services for EBC Printing They were in need of both interior and exterior renovations to their current building to create a new office and printshop.

Murphy Jewelers

Located in Whitehall, PA, we provided tenant fit-out architectural services for their newest 5,000 SF jewelry store in the Lehigh Valley Mall, which included the new façade for the jewelry store.
