During our many years of service we have worked with and supported many nonprofit organizations. Here at Watkins Architect, we feel it is important to support those in our community who work tirelessly to make a positive impact and improve people’s lives.
One organization we support as well as provide architectural services for is Mary’s Shelter. Mary’s Shelter is a multifaceted comprehensive housing and social service agency that addresses pregnancy, parenting and youth homelessness through proactive preventative work, crisis intervention services, and stabilization back into the community.
In the past we have helped Mary’s Shelter with a number of projects, including the renovation of the building in which they are housed. In 2021 they renovated 17,000 sf of existing space, turning it into 20 bedrooms, a kitchen, living room, and other support spaces.
We also support Haven House in Allentown, PA, Prospectus Berco in Berks County, PA, as well as many other local organizations and charities!
